Title: Bridges to Quality Collaboration
Project Description:
CARES will incorporate new data about professional qualifications of employees of
child care facilities enrolled in the Mississippi Child Care Quality Step System,
availability of key early childhood courses at all colleges and universities in
Mississippi and selected professional development workshops, courses, etc., into
the spatially enabled database of core data about early childhood facilities and
services of the Mississippi State University Early Childhood Institute. CARES will
also collaborate with ECI staff on a report, including relevant maps and tables
of this data.
Project Goals:
- To purchase all necessary supplies with a small amount on funding from each contract
we enter into.
- To support the cost of computers for staff to complete the work and servers that
will house the collected data and maintain an existing collaboration of the Mississippi
State University Early Childhood Institute and the Center for Applied Research and
Environmental Systems (CARES) at the University of Missouri
