Kevin Atherton

Kevin has been programming off and on for 30 years, spanning numerous languages from BASIC and PASCAL through C and C++ all the way to .NET and JavaScript. He has done various work with GIS including programming, digitizing, analysis, and map generation. His main work at CARES has been the development of nutrient management software, first within a GIS desktop environment and currently within an open source web environment.

Kevin maintains a great passion for maps of all kinds and the windows into the stories that they tell. He also plays various drums and recently achieved first vocal chair in his shower.
